3 Possible Concepts for Visual Explanation

http://sierram.web.unc.edu/2011/04/22/caffeine-and-alzheimers-disease/ My father suffered from Alzheimer's disease during the last four years of his life. The progress of Alzheimer's disease could be a good concept to illustrate.

http://www.oceanmediainc.com/media-agency-blog/2011-summer-blockbuster-budget-preview-infographic/ Another possible concept would be to illustrate the budget of a movie.

Project Statement for "Dexter" Type Portrait

Background
One of Showtime’s most popular series is “Dexter,” which stars Michael C. Hall as Dexter Morgan, a blood splatter pattern analyst who moonlights as a vigilante serial killer. The series is currently in its seventh season, and the next season will be the final season. There should be a new promo ad.

Target Audiences
The target audiences are mature audiences who watch “Dexter”, as well as mature people who have never watched “Dexter” and who are looking for a quality series to watch.

Objectives
The objective is to generate excitement for the final season of “Dexter,” so that current audiences are excited for the last season of “Dexter,” and audiences who have never watched the series before will subscribe to Showtime and catch up on all of the earlier seasons before the final season airs.

Obstacles
Some people may be unable to get past the idea that Dexter is a serial killer and will not be interested in watching the show.

Tone
The portrait should evoke a sense of gore and violence to it, therefore, the type portrait should use shades of red.

Media
This portrait is to be shown in ads on popular websites such as IMDb and other websites having to do with popular film and television.
